Our Musical Catalog:

We've tried out a lot of different products over the years - some good and some not so good. Here we've compiled a list of those items that have worked well for us or for other musicians we know. If you or someone you know plays an instrument, chances are they'll need something on this page at some point.

Strat Tweed Case
If a guitar case can be a classic, this one is it.

D'Addario light gauge strings 3-Pack (Elec)
I've tried dozens of different strings and these are the best. Use this guage for rock and light jazz.

D'Addario light gauge strings 10-Pack (Elec)
Great deal.

D'Addario light gauge strings 3-Pack (Acous)
To my ear, these are the best sounding and longest lasting acoustic strings out there.

D'Addario extra light strings 10-Pack (Elec)
These are really light strings,(.09 guage high E) but if you play a certain style with a really light touch, they do a good job.

D'Addario classical strings (hard)
These will give you a bright, pronounced tone.

D'Addario classical strings (normal)
These provide a warmer, traditional tone.

Quality music stand
There's nothing more annoying than a music stand that's too small or flimsy. This one is neither.

Mic-stand sheet music holder
This is great on-stage. Much less obtrusive than traditional stands.

Wall-mount guitar stand
These are really handy. Just be sure you mount it to a stud!

String Winder and Cutter
This makes changing guitar strings a LOT easier. Every guitar player needs one.

12' Monster Guitar Cord w/ Straight Jacks
Monster makes great cords. This one is well-suited to a Strat-style guitar or any instrument with an indented input jack.

12' Monster Guitar Cord w/ Angled Jack
Angled jacks are more convenient on non-Fender guitars. They conform better to the body style of Les Pauls or other guitars where the plug isn't indented.

The original Crybaby Wah
Hendrix, Santana, Joe Walsh and a slew of modern players use this. It adds sweeping tonal changes instantly.

MXR Phaser
Another old-school classic. This is phase shifting as it was meant to sound.

Cabasa
These are great fun. And they give your S/O something musical to do while you're jamming out.

Effects Jumper Cable
If you have effects pedals, you need these. Get a bunch.

Big Muff Distortion
These were popular in the '80s and they produce a very particular, fairly 'hot' distortion with lots of harmonics.

Ernie Ball Volume Pedal
Any effects rack should have one of these at the end of the chain. It's essential for controlling your sound on-stage.

Bass Drum Practice Pedal
Bet you drummers thought I forgot you. Not so. Here's a great, QUIET, inexpensive way to keep in-shape either at-home or on the road.

Boss Digital Delay Pedal
Great sound; rugged pedal. What more is there?

Rythm Cricket
These are great. You hear them on everything from Tito Puente to Maroon 5.

Boss Chorus Pedal
Another staple of the '80s. It's very versatile and you can get some great, thick effects from it.

Firth - Weckl Drumsticks (Wooden)
These are great looking sticks. You won't want to toss them into the crowd.

Firth Drumsticks (Wooden)
These are good sticks, too, but you might not mind sending them flying.

Drumstick Wax
This stuff helps you keep your grip.

Zildjian Cymbal Wall Clock
This is our only cymbal. It keeps great time (Get it?)

Trumpet Mouthpiece
Asymetric mouthpieces are really cool. They allow for more lower lip movement and greater range. Try one out.

Guitar Stand - Electric
Much more stable than the old tri-legged style. Electrics of all stripes will fit nicely.

Guitar Stand - Acoustic
Like its sister described above, this is much more stabe than the old style stands. This one is well suited to any acoustic or large-body electric.

Behringer Eurorack 6-Channel Mixer
Wonderful little mixer at a GREAT price. Includes good mic pres, phantom power, great EQ, aux sends for CHEAP!

Behringer Eurorack 10-Channel Mixer
More of what the 6-channel mixer offers, but with sliders and still really affordable.

Shure SM58 Microphone and Cable
This mic has been around forever. It's the best vocal mic availble for stage use. Period.

Shure SM57 Microphone
Another classic, this mic is best suited to micing instruments and amps. We've also had good luck sticking them in front of bass drums. It's a great utility mic and you can't have too many of them.

Sabine Tuner and Metronome
A great chromatic tuner and metronome combined at a very good price.
